Every year when fall comes around, LA natives quickly pull out our boots, coats, and sweaters that are tucked deep into our closets. We are so excited to get into the spirit of #fallfashion. Fortunately or unfortunately, our dreams and hopes are crushed by the continuous 80 degree weather. Dressing up for this transitional and unexplainable weather becomes a tad bit difficult. We cannot re-wear our summer beach tanks and shorts or cashmere sweaters. I've learned the best way to style and yet be cool and comfortable is by mixing your spring and fall clothing.



Last Sunday, I went to a luncheon during the day followed by dinner plans at night. In order to stay cool during the day and warm at night, I had to make sure I dressed right! I found this knitted vintage Fendi dress and topped it with a lightweight coat. I found this BCBGeneration coat from the AMAZING BCBG holiday sale and I love how lightweight and classy it is. A coat like this also adds a lot of detail and color to a little black dress.
