The Wedding Diaries: Wedding Shoes 2015 for Any Style, Age, or Height!
Wedding season has sprung! Your dress is ready, your veil is picked, and now you feel like Cinderella. One thing missing? Shoes! Spring is the best season to pick out your wedding shoes. Trust me! I searched for mine in August and barely found anything! This season is when all the light colored and sparkly shoes are in stores.
Tip: Online stores have more styles available. If you find a style you absolutely love, I would definitely recommend ordering it online. Most preferably from a large department, where you can return if you change your mind. Also, designer shoe sizes are very odd. Make sure you try a shoe from the designer to determine your size.

Loving my new short haircut! Since my hair is curly, I was super nervous about cutting it short but I knew it was time for a change. To make sure my hair doesn't loose it's texture or look too crazy short, I made sure that it was cut in multiple layers and parted to the side. I ombréd the bottoms blonde to give it more definition. Styling my hair has never been so easy!
tip: if you are going to leave it curly, u reccomend straightening the bottom tips. This will help keep ur hair more controlled.

Last night I attended Woodbury Universities 51st annual fashion show, so dressing extra stylish was a must. I paired these H&M imitation leather pants with a color-block kimono top from BCBGMAXAZRIA runway collection. I completed the look with a nude clutch, bold jewelry, and my favorite studded Schutz shoes.
For the longest time I have searched for the perfect 'leather' pants, and FINALLY came across these amazing ones at H&M for only $30. (click on picture below) I found this BCBG runway silk top from their warehouse sale, originally +$200 and I got it for $20!.

The Wedding Diaries: The Cake
The wedding cake is one of the most significant pieces of a wedding. The wedding cake symbolizes love, good luck, and the new couples union. It has now become a main attraction of the wedding, the largest centerpiece of the venue. No matter how many guests you plan on having, we all plan to have an 'extravagant' wedding cake. Nowadays, desert tables have also become very popular. They showcase a large or smaller cake, alongside a variety of tiny deserts for everyone to enjoy.
After doing many tastings and researching, I narrowed my results to Ruben's Cake located in Glendale, CA. Ruben's Cake is popular amongst us Armenians, but he caters to all events. Ruben is an absolute pleasure to work with. He listens to exactly what you like and does a live sketch of what your cake will look like. Also, depending on how many tiers you will have, you can choose a variety of flavors per tier. I HIGHLY recommend his Ruben's specialty flavor, it is amazing!
Matching the cake design to your wedding theme is crucial. It is the final accessory that completes the whole vision. It is also one of the only pieces that remain untouched and perfect until the end of the night. When the night is close to an end and you are ready to cut the cake, everyone watching the cake cutting is reminded of the beautiful night. Since my theme was an all white wedding with a hint of blush, I had my cake made in all white with pearl fondant. The details of the cake were all fondant flowers to give it a whimsical theme, as well as floral details that replicated the details on my wedding dress.
